The career of the singer and actress grew to Hollywood after she released several rap songs. Nora Lum began her musical journey as a trumpet player. Born in Forest Hills Queens, she was the daughter of Chinese immigrants as well as Koreans. Apart from classical music and jazz, Nora Lum began studying hip-hop in her teens.
