Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue E. Taylor, an American producer and actor, is well-known for her role in the movie Ray Undercover Brother as well as on The Mentalist. She graduated with an undergraduate degree in African-American Studies at Brown University and also a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue L. Ellis is an American actress and producer who is actively involved in theater, film, and television. Her career in acting began at the theater. Then she appeared on various television series in independent films, mainstream and movies. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw, a character on ABC's Quantico. In BET's epic series The Book of Negroes she was a character. She did not only receive critical acclaim for her role but also received a few awards and nominations. In 1995 she was the first actress to make her debut with The Tempest as Ariel. Her credits on stage include The Broadway show of Joe Turner's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. Her film career is highlighted through her appearances in Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express, and The Help. Also, she is well-known for her part in ABC's crime show High Incident.
