Kristen Anne Bell was born in 1980 and is an American singer and actress. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) - and Tom Bell - a television director. She is an American actor and singer. She was born in Michigan's Huntington Woods with the family of a Polish mother and father that has a mix of German, English Irish, Scottish, and Irish. Kristen discovered her talents in the entertainment industry in her early years. She went to her audition in 1992 and was offered an appearance on Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell received an agent who was appointed by her mother prior to the age of 13 and was cast as a model in newspapers and television commercials. As well as learning in private classes, she began her acting career at that time. Bell had a small uncredited role as a character in Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell went to Shrine Catholic High School, where she took part in drama and music club. Bell was chosen to play the lead role as Dorothy at her school's play The Wizard of Oz. Bell went on to study in musical theater at the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts in New York City after graduating. Bell was a graduate in 2001, decided to leave her college studies in order to take on the role Becky as Becky in Tom Sawyer. She made her first film credits in Pootie Tang during 2001. The scene however cut, and Bell's only role is the end credits. Bell was in the film with Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson as well as in the Broadway performance of The Crucible in 2002.
